Sex in America

If you're uncomfortable about blacks, you're a racist; uncomfortable about Jews, you are an anti-semite; but today, if you're uncomfortable about sex, you're a civic leader. --- Dr. Marty Klein

I love this quote from another blogger, psychotherapist specializing in sexuality and author, Marty Klein, who writes Sexual Intelligence

Briefly, Marty Klein writes for the misogynist and sexually exploitive Playboy magazine thus he reflects the beliefs and prejudices of his sexually aggressive patrons. Klein's website is hostile, sneering at what he calls "so-called "victims"" of pornography. Klein doth protest too much. He is cited in defense of the sexualization of children (http://www2.rz.hu-berlin.de/sexology/GESUND/ARCHIV/IES/USA08.HTM)by David Weis on "Child Pornography" ridiculing the FBI concern over "child pornography...Yet, it is virtually impossible to find any commercial child pornography in the U.S.A. In fact, most of the materials seized by the FBI are private photographs of naked children - with no adults appearing in the photos and no sexual behaviors depicted (Klein 1994; Stanley 1989)." Indeed, Stanley, Klein's colleague is also author of a Playboy article they call, "The Child Pornography Myth." Lawrence Stanley was arrested for child sexual abuse and child pornography in 2002. (http://www.nostatusquo.com/ACLU/NudistHallofShame/stanley/stanley2.html. Mr. Klein has a conflict of interest and can hardly be cited for sexual guidance or intelligence.
